Tucked between an industrial park and a busy highway, just minutes away from shopping in northern Pinellas County is a place where magic happens. You wouldn’t know it was there, unless you knew it was there. Down a dirt road, under the power lines, you might start to worry that somewhere along the way, you made a wrong turn.
Every week the unassuming lake transforms into a stage where pyramids are built, people are launched into the air, and teams of participants are put through their paces, in several hours of action packed entertainment.
With over 40 years of experience under their bling-ed out belts, this team of performers astounds and delights audiences both young and old. Hearing terms like ‘jump’, ‘front flip’ and ‘7 man pyramid’, you’d be temped to look for the circus. It is a circus, of sorts, with its over-the-top stunts, interactive moments and death-defying tricks. This show, however, is one of the few where getting wet is not only celebrated, it’s encouraged.
Drama, costumes, music and fun all come together in a careful ballet of driving, weaving, jumping and flipping, and are showcased during the free Saturday night shows. To raise money for their program, however, they’ll gladly accept your donation, and they offer concessions to those who may want a snack while they watch the show.
Participants in the program have gone on to work for Sea World, Cypress Gardens and other well-known organizations. After watching their show, you may be inspired to join their ranks – a decision they encourage with classes for all ages. They love when families join their program, offering parents and siblings the chance to have fun together.
(It’s not all fun and games, however. This group of performers has won multiple championship titles, has set world records and has traveled the globe performing! They love what they do, and are excellent at doing it!)
